Joe Gries
Joe Gries has worked in county government for over 25 years. His career started in the Knight Township Assessor’s office. In 2005, Joe became the Chief Deputy Auditor, supervising the county’s finances and payroll departments. Joe was elected Vanderburgh County Auditor in 2010 and 2014. In 2015, Joe joined the Vanderburgh County Health Department as the Administrator and has worked closely with the Health Officer, the Board of Health, and staff to continue improving public health services for our community. Since working for the health department, Joe has helped it achieve accreditation from the National Public Health Accreditation Board. He has helped to increase funding for local public health programs and worked with numerous local organizations during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Lynn Herr
Lynn Herr is a registered nurse with 35 years of experience in Maternal Child Health. She serves as the Director of the Clinical and Outreach Divisions at the Vanderburgh County Health Department, the Fetal Infant and Child Fatality Coordinator, and as leadership for the Pre to 3 home visitation program. Lynn was born in Evansville, Indiana. She received her ADN from the University of Evansville in 1984 and her BSN fromthe University of Southern Indiana in 2013. She has been a certified pediatric nurse since 2009. Lynn serves on the board of Building Blocks and is a member of the Talent 2025 initiative.
Cameron Halcomb
Born and raised in Evansville, Cameron Halcomb is Vice President, Team Member Experience & Culture Officer at Old National Bank. In this role, she combines her communications and marketing expertise with a passion for creating human‑centered employee experiences. Cameron leads enterprise‑wide strategies across the employee lifecycle – from onboarding to advocacy – driven by the belief that engaged team members deliver exceptional client value and strengthen organizational culture.
Her leadership style is clarity‑first and people‑powered: she sets crisp outcomes, coaches with care, and rallies teams around shared purpose, insight, and accountability. Beyond the workplace, Cameron is deeply committed to raising up the next generation of families – especially young women – to see themselves as leaders, builders, and culture carriers in their communities. As a mom to two young daughters, this mission is personal, shaping how she mentors others and champions initiatives that empower growth and belonging.
Kelly Holzmeyer
Kelly Holzmeyer is the Finance Supervisor for the Vanderburgh County Health Department, where she oversees departmental and grant budgets, fiscal reporting, and the development of finance policies and procedures that support transparent and compliant use of public health funding. With over a decade of experience in local public health, Kelly previously served as an Environmental Health Specialist, conducting regulatory inspections and community education to reduce environmental health risks.
Kelly is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health (MPH) with a concentration in Public Health Administration at Indiana University, focusing on aligning financial stewardship with long-term community health outcomes. She is passionate about building sustainable funding structures, strengthening internal controls, and supporting programs that improve the health and well-being of Vanderburgh County residents.
Stephen Thomas
Stephen Thomas is a personal injury lawyer with Chapman Law in Evansville. He was born and raised in southern Illinois and has lived in Evansville since 1976. He attended Southern Illinois University and the University of Notre Dame. He was on the board of Habitat for Humanity of Evansville for many years and is an active volunteer with the St. Vincent de Paul Society and St. Vincent’s Hospital.
Melissa Morehead Moore
As a lifelong public servant, Melissa Moore Morehead has spent her career empowering and encouraging everyone with whom she has come into contact over the years. After graduating from Benjamin Bosse High School, she started her journey with the United States Navy. Melissa has a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership from the University of Evansville. She serves on the boards for Legal Aid Society, ARG, CAPE, and EVSC Foundation. As an ordained minister, she serves at Greater Hope Church in Evansville. She currently serves as the Programming Coordinator for the Center for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at the University of Evansville.
Jordan Whitledge
Jordan Whitledge serves as a Lead Investment Advisor with Donaldson Capital Management. As a Lead Investment Advisor, Jordan works with families to understand their unique situations and define their goals and values. Jordan graduated from the University of Southern Indiana (USI)’s Romain College of Business with a Bachelor of Science in Economics. In 2016, he returned to USI and earned his MBA. In 2023, Jordan successfully passed the Level III CFA exam and became an official CFA charterholder. He is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional.
Lloyd Winnecke
Lloyd Winnecke is the CEO for the Evansville Regional Economic Partnership (E-REP). He was inaugurated on January 1, 2012, as the 34th Mayor of the City of Evansville. As a native of Evansville, Lloyd graduated from Central High School and earned a Bachelor of Science in Communications from the University of Evansville. His professional background includes roles as Senior Vice President and Marketing Director at Fifth Third Bank and News Director at WEHT 25. In 2024, Lloyd was inducted into the JA Evansville Regional Business Hall of Fame.
